Voices of Users Conference 2026

The first practitioner exchange for Article 86 organisations and for Trusted Flaggers under the Digital Services Act.

Why are we bringing this together

The Digital Services Act opens new possibilities for organisations to act on behalf of users and to engage with platforms and regulators in more structured ways. At the same time, many organisations and Trusted Flaggers are facing similar practical challenges, often without a regular space to exchange experience.

The Voices of Users Conference is designed as a first convening to bring these actors together, share lessons from practice and explore needs and wishes for future meetups.

What this conference is for

01. Connect peers

Meet other Article 86 organisations and Trusted Flaggers working on similar issues and identify possible synergies.

02. Share practice

Discuss concrete implementation challenges, platform interfaces and recurring issues such as dark patterns, reporting workflows and user-rights enforcement.

03. Shape next steps

Use this first meeting to assess whether a regular practitioner exchange or civil-society forum should grow from it.

Initiated by

The conference is initiated by the German NGO LegalAid as a first step in convening organisations working on user-rights enforcement and platform accountability. The goal is not only to host a single event, but to find out whether an ongoing exchange format would be valuable.
